Sputter explores a host of new rehological materials from liquid metals to silicone and associated free form robotic fabrication processes drawn from a wide range of industrial robots. A goal of this research program and FFF in general is to replace expensive casting and formwork with new machinic processes and both organic and inorganic templates that can be used to produce complex free-form surfaces and structures.
